During the 7 hour drive back to Texas from Oklahoma, I knew Ava was going to be the perfect kitty for our family. She refused to stay in her crate during the ride home, and instead opted to sleep in my lap the entire way home. Ava is the sweetest kitten. She knows no stranger and is willing to give free snuggles to anyone who wants them. She is almost 9 months old now and spends her days lounging by the sunniest window in the house, staring at the stray cats through our front window, and running through the house chasing her stuffed mice. She runs to the door when we come home, demands to be held, and takes over the bed (under the covers, of course) when it is time to go to sleep.
I am so impressed with A1 Savannahs and their genuine love for the Savannah cat breed. It is obvious that Ava was raised by the best of the best during the first few months of her life. Her temperament is unlike no other savannah cat that I’ve been around. She is so loving, snuggly, and has a little bit of sass when she feels like being in charge ;)
I want to sincerely thank Amanda and her husband for allowing us to adopt Ava. She has become part of our family and we are rather inseparable. Might I add, my boyfriend who was “allergic to cats” loves her just as much as I do, even though he’d be reluctant to admit it. I will always come to A1 Savannahs when wanting to adopt another savannah in the future, Ava might need a friend sometime soon!
